Basic Tuition
At Home
Mouse, hard drive, ethernet, configure, gigabyte. The world
of computers is full of strange and new terms that can leave
some people feeling bewildered and scared to get involved.
At ClickStart we appreciate that not everyone speaks "Technojargon",
so we offer basic tuition on a One2One basis in the comfort
of your own home.
You learn what you want to learn and you learn it at your own
pace. If a session needs repeating then so be it. The idea is
to give you a grounding in basic computer skills so that you
have the confidence to take it forward and explore on your own.
And if you get stuck in between sessions we are always available
to offer help over the telephone or by e-mail.
You can book a one off session to get you started ("Computers
for the Terrified!) or a course of sessions as long as you like.

Alternatively...
Many councils, adult education centres and other government
agencies offer low cost or no cost computer training. You'll
normally have to visit a learning centre and commit to making
progress at a certain rate.

there are lots of well proven, and free, software programs that
can help you stay safe online.
