Networks
If you have more than one PC it might be possible to link them
together, in to a network. You can share an Internet connection,
share files and folders and even share other network resources
such as printers and storage devices.
A network can be wired (everything is connected by cables) or
wireless (an access point is connected to the Internet with
wires but then transmits a radio signal around the building
to the other things on the network).
Setting up a network properly and securely can be quite tricky,
and proper planning is the key to success. Unless you are very
confident it is best to get help. ClickStart is experienced
in setting up all types of network, as well as diagnosing and
solving the sorts of problems that often occur.

Did
You Know?
If you have an unsecured wireless network then anyone with a
PC or laptop within range can share your Internet access, and
possibly even see the data on your computer. Securing a network
these days is quite straightforward to make sure you batten
down the hatches now before it's too late (or ask ClickStart
to do it for you)!
